The Perry County Food Bank-Plus is a ministry of Linden First Baptist Church, supported by local churches and individual donations in conjunction with Second Harvest Food Bank.
There is one distribution per month, on the Thursday following the third Wednesday.
The food bank is located at the First Baptist Church Family Life Center, 111 Brooklyn Ave., the yellow brick building behind the church. The phone number is (931) 589-5100 (local call). Office hours are 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday. You can call this number for more or to set up a phone consultation to see if you qualify for food assistance or even emergency assistance. If you are unable to physically come to the Food Bank to pick up food, delivery can be arranged, but this is not the norm.
